New budget digital piano
on: January 01, 2012, 02:07:08 PM
I am looking at purchasing a new digital piano and due to the size of my house and my modest budget the hemingway dp 201 and the thomann dp25 or dp 30, seem to fit the bill. The problem is you have to buy these online first so you can't try them out. I was wondering if anyone has any advice for me on which I should get?

Ok, I had a digital piano from yamaha it cost me 4200$ 15 years ago. I also got a yamaha c3 too. But the touch on the digtal piano is no way near either grand or up right. BUT, the new yamaha clp250-270 -around 2500$ they are very good/cheaper and the touch is almost near grand(10% less) and  its much much better than my first generation digital piano that I bought 15 years ago. Otherwise, Roland is not bad too.

Thanks for getting back to me I have tried the yahama digital piano's and they are nice but a little bit expensive for me, I was hoping to get something around the $500 mark as I'm only starting out, before this I have just played guitar.
