A Jazz Piano Christmas 2025 – But not at the Kennedy Center

For more than three decades, “A Jazz Piano Christmas” at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. has been a quiet highlight of the holiday season for jazz and piano lovers. No fixed formulas, no “seasonal jazz” clichés — just strong pianistic voices working with familiar material. This year, the live concert is on pause. An unusual request
on: January 02, 2012, 10:28:41 PM
Okay, so this probably needs some explanation, but before I do that I'll take some time to briefly describe my request;

I am looking for someone to help me arrange a piano / vocals version of this song. It is not a classical piece, and it's not even a very well composed song, but it's got some potential.

And then there's the lyrics, which is the main reason why I want to learn to play and perform this song. The lyrics (which can be found here) fits my current situation perfectly. I was (am) in love with this girl, and I have been for the last two years, but on new years eve I found that she does not feel the same way. Which, of course, left me heartbroken. I want to express my feelings through music, and I want this song to be the one. I am not going to ever let her see or hear me perform it (unless I end up putting it on youtube and she stumbles upon it) but for my own sake I need to express my feelings somehow - I need to get it off my chest.  :-[ I am awfully sorry for the weird, disillusioned and "whiney" request, but please help me. For the sake of the music.

Any help would be highly appreciated. Even if it's just linking me to someone else that could help me, I'd be super happy. I just happen to be completely obsessed with the idea of doing this, but I need help...

With regards
