rachmaninoff sonata no. 2--slow movement playable??

I could never play the first and third movements, but I wonder if I could handle the slow movement.  I am an adult amateur and have played some of the easier Rachmaninoff preludes.  The middle (fast) section sounds tough.  Thoughts?  Thanks.
