Here's Reverie by Debussy. Any input welcome.

Nice Recording! It sounds like you've put a lot of work into this piece and it's all paid off. I just noticed a few things that could use some work:
First of all, the tempo was kind of messy. It seemed to randomly speed up and slow down a lot, especially around the beginning. There were also some places where the notes weren't all correct. Around measures 51-75, it was sorta messy and there were a lot of note mistakes.  Especially measures 69 and 70. The notes kind of fell apart there. The left hand was barely played at all and the right hand triplets weren't all played, and the ones that were played, were too fast. I also thought, at the very beginning of the piece, (measures 1-9) it seemed like the right hand and the left hand weren't very together. Though, other than that, I thought this was a very good performance! You had a lot of expression in your playing! Congrats on learning this piece!

Thanks a lot for the feedback. I had been feeling that the section you mentioned needed work but it was in sort of detached unnecessary way (I need to work on acting on those feelings more). I'll definitely comb through that and polish up the tempo and notes. I noticed when playing the very beginning that I had the tempo slightly off, it's weird how some of these problems seem to come and go. All part of learning I guess, I just need to stay attentive and listen. Thanks again!

sorry slightly off topic but quick question, the sound is lovely, i think you're playing on an instrument well suited to producing the colors you want (deep rich/ robust sound well suited to jazz vs the brightness of an asian instrument), that is it sounds like you're not having to struggle against  the acoustic properties of the piano here, which i believe helps you make some very pretty music,

what model mason hamlin is that, is it an old one or one of the resurrected ones, i really really like mason hamlins dare i say better than ss sometimes , hard to choose but it was nice seeing one of these

thanks for asking, I'm surprised I never thought to check. I looked today and saw its an AA 24750. Which according to some random site google led me to places it around ~1915. I never new it was that old!

I played through Reverie again today (after listening to my own recording a few more times) and I definitely noticed how rough (talking tempo variance) some parts were, thankfully I know it well enough that they it was pretty easy to adjust with some focus and I think it sounded a lot better. Once I get it really polished I'll post another video.
