wow i'm on the opposite end, i haven't found anything of his i don't absolutely love, for me to choose would be like asking me what my favorite key/note is out of the 88 we get to hand out with every day. i can't do it.

I so love his rendition of Chopin's Polonaise in A flat major op 53 and his recordings of Chopin's Mazurkas. I believe his rendition of Chopin op53 has to be among the top 5 recordings of that piece ever. The Mazurkas are one of the neglected works of Chopin but it was wonderful that RUbinstein recorded most of them. Whenever I learn a Mazurka or interested in one I usually listen to his recordings.

Heard his 1950 video of him playing the Polonoise right now. Good but hardly great in my opinon

For me, his Brahms 1 concerto recording with the Israel Phil (Mehta conducting of course) is one of the most incredible achievement of humanity.

Also, I recommend the Brahms cello sonatas with Piatigorsky, violin sonatas with Szeryng, and the Schubert B-flat Trio with Heifetz and Piatigorsky (or it might've been Feuermann already).

His Chopin is fairly "authorative".  The drawback, I think, the digital remastering may not be so good; it depends on individual labels/record companies.

One of my all time favorites is his recording of Chopin concerto #2 with Ormandy and the Philidelpia phiharmonic....
