Guy Maier : thinking fingers
on: January 12, 2012, 10:19:32 AM
Hello everybody,
I'm Andrea from Italy, and this is my first post on pianostreet. I recently decided to recommence playing piano after a long interruption (about 15 years,). While waiting for my new digital piano to arrive, I started looking for some exercise books to add to my collection (Hanon, Pischna) following the advices found on this beautiful forum.
In particular I'm interested in the Guy Maier books. Does anyone know where I could find them ? Pdf would be ok as well.

Ciao
Andrea

I had the reference librarian at my local library track down a copy for me. It is by Guy Maier and Herbert Bradshaw. It was published in 1948 and 1954. Also, you could google worldcat and possibly find it at a library near you. This book is well worth the trouble of finding.

Hope that helps, Joe.
