How about some of the Chopin Waltzes? There are some really nice ones around the same level as the nocturne. You could try another nocturne, the Op 27 nocturnes are really beautiful.
Chopin-Waltz Op.42
Brahms-Intermezzo Op.118 No.2
Field-Sonata No.1
Beethoven-Sonata Op.14 No.1
Bach-Prelude and Fugue in B flat No.21 WTC 1

More Chopin: some of the Waltzes or Mazurkas would be a nice fit if you don't want to try another Nocturne.

More Mendlesohn: There's still a whole lot of the Song Without Words, or you could try some of the Pièces Caractéristiques for piano, Op. 7 (1827).

i agree with the op 7 (and perhaps op 8) sets being loaded with beautiful little gems. if you want to stretch yourself a bit this one is quite nice:
Mendelssohn, Felix/Fantasie (Sonate écossaise) fis-Moll
 Mov.1 Con moto agitato: Andante Op.28 U 92
i think this young lady gives a particularly effective rendition

hmm Chopin Chopin, the impromtu no 1 in a flat major op 29 is very pretty,  i'm making this just on a whim since i really do not know where you are technically and musically, overall i find all of chopins music very difficult and never feel it do it justice (just like with mozart), but i digress...

Thanks everyone for the suggestions, I just want to learn as many pieces as I can and there is something about Mendelssohns songs without words. Regarding your comment  49410enrique about Chopin go easy on yourself, my theory is with any composer when you are comfortable with the piece then you can let go with it, which means you are playing to the best of your ability.
