Help finding Yamaha accessory
on: January 23, 2012, 06:34:23 PM
So I'm new to this forum and hopefully this is the correct place to have this thread, if not let me know.
Anyway, I'm desperately trying to find a music rest for my Yamaha P85 digital piano.  My old one broke and I can't seem to find a replacement anywhere.  Does anyone know of a Yamaha supply site or of a music stand that might be able to fit into this model?

After some research I found my answer.  Yamaha has their own supply site.  For those in the future wondering it is www.yamaha24X7.com
You do need the part number in order to find the item you are looking for.  Hope this helps someone out.

Women and the Chopin Competition: Breaking Barriers in Classical Music

The piano, a sleek monument of polished wood and ivory keys, holds a curious, often paradoxical, position in music history, especially for women. While offering a crucial outlet for female expression in societies where opportunities were often limited, it also became a stage for complex gender dynamics, sometimes subtle, sometimes stark. From drawing-room whispers in the 19th century to the thunderous applause of today’s concert halls, the story of women and the piano is a narrative woven with threads of remarkable progress and stubbornly persistent challenges.
