New area for new members?
on: January 28, 2012, 09:09:37 PM
Do you think we should make a new area for new members to introduce themselves. I mean we get all these new topics of hi i'm new here I think we should put a separate box for them to get to know members better. ;)

Maybe the pianos would like a section to gossip too. They must get awfully bored and lonely sitting there all the time. I often wonder what it would have to say. Maybe some ideas to help on feng shui, or how they'd long for a service from that particular technician.

An area is already dedicated to instruments in particular pianos so there is no need. Everything instrument related can be discussed there.

Actually I think that an inclusion of a board for new members will make things even worse for the forum. We already have the introduction thread and I've seen people introduce themselves on other boards or start a thread about themselves. Usually when I visit other forums they have a board for introduction of new members. I noticed that they all tend to be veyr messy with tens of hundreds of boards.
