Mozart k457 sonata 2nd movement help.
on: February 02, 2012, 08:28:22 PM
Hi!
I'm currently learning Mozarts k457 sonata. I'm at the 2nd movement and I can't seem to figure out a turn ornament in the piece. The song is in the key of C minor. The notes themselves are Bb to Db connected by a slur with a turn on top. The turn also has a flat sighn on top of it. If anyone can tell me the names of the notes being played, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you

If we think about the same ornament, you play the Bb, then you play the turn (Cb or B natural, Bb, Ab and Bb) and Db. The turn should be followed immediately by Db because, from what I see, the turn mark is not above the Bb, but rather just before Db.

Best regards, Dr
