And now for something different to the usual Beethoven, Chopin and Liszt...

What is your favourite Messiaen work (either for piano or otherwise)?

I have too many favourite Messiaen compositions but one of them would be Visions de l'Amen (for 2 pianos). Here is a youtube recording of the 7th movement (Amen de la Consommation):

I really like Oiseaux Exotiques, as well as some pieces in Catalogue de Oiseaux and L'Ascension for solo organ.

I must confess to not having had much experience with Messiaen.  I do like his Symphony Quartet for the End of Time.
