Kohler Piano
on: February 12, 2012, 01:54:53 PM
I am a brand new student and I have acquired a Kohler Piano. Is this the same as a Kohler Campbell piano. The name plate on the front of the piano only says Kohler. Thank you.

Yes -both Kohler&Campbell and Kohler brands are made by Samick. They also make digital pianos dropping the Campbell moniker.

Whether it is built by Samick depends on the age. Kohler & Campbell apparently built some pianos using the Kohler name. Prior to about 1985, Kohler & Campbell was American made, and though popular because of price, not a particularly good musical instrument.
