The Quiet Revolutionary of the Piano – Fauré’s Complete Piano Works Now on Piano Street

In the pantheon of French music, Gabriel Fauré (1845–1924) often seems a paradox—an innovator cloaked in restraint, a Romantic by birth who shaped the contours of modern French music with quiet insistence. Piano Street now provides sheet music for his complete piano works: a body of music that resists spectacle, even as it brims with invention and brilliance. Read more

Your favourite Simpsons episode
on: February 22, 2012, 05:47:34 AM
I know this is a very very very childish topic and no one watches the show anymore including me, but I feel  compelled to start the topic, seeing that the 500th episode came out recently. But what the hey!
I've watched the show since I was 8 years old until I started high school, when I started watching the news which was in the same time slot as The Simpsons. I've learnt quite a lot from the Simpsons since it contains countless cultural references in every episode. So goes the saying/ what ever 'you learn something every day'....

My favourite episode was where Bart, inspired by a famous real life daredevil, attempts to skate across the Springfield canon.

Again, this is a childish topic and I guess it is not suitable for adults. If you have any favourite/ memorable simpsons episodes, share it here.

How is this not suitable for adults? The Simpsons is one of those shows that has a lot of jokes that only older kids and adults will get. Anyways, I've seen pretty much all of the episodes, but the ones I always love are the Treehouse of Horror episodes. Those are so witty and great, especially some of the earlier ones.

My favourite would be "Homer Badman". When I first watched it, I was amazed by the fact that it felt so real, the way media distort facts in order to satisfy their audiences. I also had a very good laugh with it  ;D
