My first composition under my stage name of Plinkovsky.
The west Cornish expression "first and last" taks on a whole new significance, it would seem. It's interesting, however, to note that you now have a stage name and, whatever its shortcomings, it's almost certainly better than that of the man long since forgotten as anything other than the composer of
Hänsel und Gretel and which was assumed decades ago but someone who's now about to parade it once again in his mid-70s as the British candidate for the forthcoming Eurogottabekidding Song Contest...

As long as they're not also in earshot, all might still be well.
No doubt, this work is preferable to much from the 21st Century.
Well, thanks a lot! I'll put my pen down and compose no more, then...
All that said, the notion of "plinkiness" (such as and whatever it may be) seems to be seriously at odds with the sheer lack of chromaticism in the example that you posted; "plink off" might therefore be an understandable, if insensitive, response.
There's no obligation upon us all to try to "compose", you know...
Best,
Alistair
