Hi everyone! I do apologize for making yet another one of these threads, I know there's been so many, but I'd like some feedback on my particular requirements.

I'm planning on auditioning for majoring in "Music" as a BA, so it's not performance. The exact requirements are:

"Auditions in this area are less stringent than those in performance. Students should
prepare two contrasting pieces from the classical literature, demonstrating their technical
and interpretive abilities in a principal area. Instrumentalists and keyboardists
will be asked to play scales as well as sight-read."

I'm planning on playing:

Chopin Waltz Op.64 No.2
Bach English Suite No.2 in A min. Prelude

Do you think those pieces would be suitable? If not, what would you recommend?

Thanks.

as has been the case with previous similar thread, you should, and must check with the school, read the requirement, choose your piece, then double check with the school if they are appropriate. more importantly once that pre-req is met, you polish polish polish so as to give your best musical performance that showcases your strengths as well as potential.
