Need good beginner pieces to play.
on: March 06, 2012, 05:32:26 PM
Hello,

I just recently got an electronic keyboard, and I am just looking for some good songs or pieces (I know the difference, don't rage at me,) to play. If it helps to determine my current skill level, here is a list of the songs I can currently play. '100 Years' by Five For Fighting, 'Mad World' (Alex Parks version), 'Secrets' by One Republic, 'Dohvakiin' from Skyrim, a bit of 'Lovecats' by The Cure, the intro to 'Only The Good Die Young' by Billy Joel, 'Werewolves Of London' by Warren Zevon, 'Clocks' by Coldplay, and 'Exile Vilify' by The National.

Thanks to anyone who has a song recommendation for me.  ;D

Anything's good, I don't really have a preference.

If I had to choose, though, I think pop songs/game themes. I want to be able to play songs that people around where I live would recognize. But still, either one would work.

In that case, try 'To Zanarkand' from Final Fantasy X.  :)
