Studying Particularly
on: March 16, 2012, 05:50:07 AM
Well this is a very long story, so i will make it as short as i can. And please excuse my english.

I'm studying in my Conservatoire (Not the bachelor yet, is something like a preparatory) I wanted to change my teacher, but the academic director (my current teacher's husband) doesn't let me, and this is clearly a case of corruption, because everyone from other teachers can change, but me T_T, so i decided to quit from the conservatoire, and start to receive particular lessons with the teacher i wanted to study, and start to prepare for better schools of music (i want to apply to a conservatoire in Austria or Germany) but my friends in the conservatoire say this isn't gonna be the same, and they are not supportive, my parents are supportive, but i know they feel sad about this whole thing. I tell them i think it's gonna be better because i will have much more time for practicing piano and learning theory (because in the preparatory they add other subjects that are unrelated to music). But i feel like i am the only one who thinks this is a good idea T_T. I don't know what to do. I'm really depressed about this. Do you think is better to study particularly, and then apply to better conservatoires? Considering all the troubles i had with the institution :( .
