here's the complete visions fugitives from prokofiev, one of my favorite collections to play. i played this for a concert just the other day that i thought was going to be recorded. it turns out they didn' mean it would be recorded; instead, they had a video camera trained on the keyboard and the image was projected on the stage onto a big projector screen so people could get closeups. it was interesting to say the least.
so i just went to a piano afterwards, and recorded parts of the concert over. here's the prokofiev, and will be posting some more interesting pieces from there soon.
i realized that i am not too versedin his style as i have only played this, the violin sonata, and romeo and juliet. this summer i will have to learn more pieces, including sonatas 2, 3 and 6 , sarcasms, and possibly the 4 etudes. any other suggestions?
