if the name was an allusion to his books (yes its a stretch) then i'll bite. I read the first one "my young years" and i really enjoyed it, i don't how much was it is fiction but it was definitely a good read. As for as his pianism goes i've only got a couple of his recordings (his first cycle of complete mazurkas and beethoven 3rd PC) i liked them both particularly the mazurkas which are the best i've heard.

Rubinstein!!!  I love his Chopin Mazurkas.  Such natural executions...  oh well,  he's my favourite pianist.  I prefer him in many ways to Vladimir Horowitz.

By the way, I was born exactly a hundred years after him! hehehe  :P
