Antonio Soler's Sonatas sheet
on: March 22, 2012, 05:37:46 PM
Hi!

Does anybody of you got an edition of Soler's Sonatas with fingering? I'm actually searching for a edited edition of piano sonata n° 34 in E major.
I downloade the one in IMSLP website but it's an amatorial reproduction edited by computer with no signs so for me it's a little bit difficult to decide if my fingering can be correct or not, Just need one edition to compare...

Thanks for any soggestion

Hi

welcome to the club of Soler aficionados.

Unfortunately editions with fingerings are very rare, the only one I know of is Frederick Marvin's selected sonatas in the Henle edition. I doubt however that it includes the one you are looking for.

By the way Frederick Marvin has made a beautiful recording of a dozen or so sonatas.
