Schubert D 845 1st movement
on: March 25, 2012, 01:56:58 AM
I haven't posted on Piano Street in a long time, but here is a recording of me playing the first movement of Schubert's sonata in A minor D. 845 (Op. 42)! Hope you enjoy. :)

There are a couple wrong notes (I haven't had the piece in a while) but I think I'm making some good progress on it.

Very beautiful playing! Thank you for posting! I'm looking forward to hearing more from you, especially Schubert, I think the sonatas are quite underrepresented here in the audition room.
Could you elaborate a bit on the recording setting and the piano you played on? It sounds great to me.

Thanks for listening! It was on a 7 foot Steinway and I used a Zoom. I'm not sure when I'll learn the other movements yet... I'm a bad boy I know, I should learn an entire sonata, not just one movement, but I have so many other things I want to play, too...
