Beginner to "Finale". Please help.

Hello all, I am trying to make an arrangement of a song. Now, I could spend countless hours listening to the song over and over and write it part by part on my own, but I was wondering...


Is there a way that I could just play a recording of the song in Finale (or any other composition software) and it will write out the parts for me? Or at least the majority of the parts? I don't know anything about Finale or making arrangements on the computer. I've only done my own arrangements with pencil, paper, and many hours of spare time.

Any suggestions or ideas are greatly appreciated.
