Padre Soler
on: March 26, 2012, 07:56:29 AM
Hello

I am trying to find sheet music, material, books etc. about Antonio Soler. Unfortunately, the editions I am aware of are quite few:

- Rubio, 120 sonatas (difficult to find and not complete)
- Marvin, selections in the Henle edition
- Marvin, 8 volumes, impossible to find
- Chateau gris website (some great informations there plus 120 sonatas)

The information and bibliography on the net is very limited, unfortunately despite some of the better known sonatas and his fandango, Soler seems to remain largely unknown and undeserving of the place he occupies.

Are there any other editions I am not aware of? Would anyone care to share?

Kind regards
Al
