Hi,
Just wonder anyone has the copy of this piece: Carl Czerny Op493, Variations on Mozart's Marriage of Figaro?

Thanks.

i need to see my archives ina bit. is that the two piano duet concerto work? i think have a difficult set of czerty var' for two pianos somewhere i just can't rmemeber what it is i'll modify this reply if it's indeed what you're looking for.

yeah the two piece is his overture, my bad. the henselt library has what seems to be a partial surviving copy with a few missing pages recreated to fill the gaps. i might not be clean but it's probably all you'll get for free on pd unless you can start emailing publishers directly to see wha they have available (most likely you'll have to also look 'importing' an international edition if domestic searches don't quite pan out).

i gave the 'fingerings' the once over, they seems pretty spot on, as for the 'bad print qualty' at least we're talking pretty predictable harmonies and melodic lines, figuring out any questionable notes i.e. line vs/ space should be pretty easy with even a college freshman level basic theory analysis.  i don't think it'll give you much trouble and if anything will help you understand the work a bit better.

That used to be in my repertoire many moons ago. A damned sight easier than the liszt version, but a good technique is still required.

Katsaris playing this is a joy.
