Liadov - Some pieces
on: March 31, 2012, 01:23:35 PM
This morning I had fun (re-)recording some of Anatol Liadov's wonderful miniatures. This composer
probably does not feature all too often here. Hope you like, comments welcome.

Hi cbreemer,

Thanks for bringing more of Liadoff's music to Audition Room.  These pieces are beautifully played and in general his music is more difficult to play than it sounds.  Also I think that Liadoff was never at a loss for a good melody.

He's a wonderful piano composer indeed. There seems to be hardly a weak spot in his entire considerable piano oeuvre (though I do know know all of it as yet).
