Should this stop me studying a piece?
on: September 25, 2004, 05:34:07 AM
I love the first 2 movements of 'pathetique' but the 3rd is really not my cup of tea.
I have no intention of learing the 3rd,
Has anyone else missed out movements because of personal reasons?

yeah for sure. I learnt all movements of Beethoven's Op 22 Sonata except the second one which bores me. In the Pathetique i only learnt the first because i am not fond of the others. For me it would be a real struggle to try and learn a piece (or movements of a piece) that i don't like.
