How many threads are you going to create, asking this question?  This is the fourth, at least.

I'll just go to the point:

EWQL does not support half pedal.  It does not support repedalling.  It's the classic sampled VST with a good tone and poor playability.  There are lots of very cheap VST's with great sound and no features.  No need to pay a ton for EWQL, good demos notwithstanding.

Do what you want with your money, but one thread, in one forum, is enough to know that it's not recommended.

Go with Galaxy Vintage D the interface has full control its cheaper and and sounds at least 30% better in a mix , east west sounds good on the web but when you get home its a different story, not to mention no dry sound

He's already started multiple threads over there and had lots of comments, which universally recommended not to get EWQL.  Hence my impatience with his persistence in asking.  If you ask and don't like the answer, just buy it--no one is stopping you.  You don't need to ask again and again.  Advice from people in the know is not going to change just because you ask over and over.

I have only asked this question once on this forum and I asked only once on piano world, and to be honest I only had 2 replys on piano world one from you gvfarns and 1 from someone else and only mostly comments from you on here, so I havent really had my question answered at all.

Well, there's this thread (the one in which we are currently talking).  And then there's this thread

https://www.pianostreet.com/smf/index.php?topic=45958.0

And there's this thread

https://www.pianoworld.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/1880244/East%20West%20quantum%20leap%20piano%20o.html#Post1880244

And there's this thread

https://www.pianoworld.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/1878994/Best%20piano%20VST.html#Post1878994

which, by the way, got a LOT of responses.  And now I see you asking the same question in the thread where the new PianoTeq version is being discussed (it's completely out of place there).

Better than starting thread after thread and contaminating threads about other things would be:

1) Reading the history at PW.  EWQL is discussed all the time there and has been for years.  It's not new software.

To get you started with research on this topic, read this thread:

https://www.pianoworld.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/1741622/1.html

2) Bumping your thread and asking if there are any opinions other than the ones you have already gotten.

3) Just buying the stupid thing and finding out for yourself.  I see in your other thread that you have already bought it.  Now's a good time to stop asking about it and play it yourself.  You know, to form your own opinion.

I can't believe you would say you haven't had your questions answered.  Read those four threads...many people have told you not to get EWQL and why.  Just because you may have mentioned EWQL after the first few posts rather than in the top post doesn't mean it's a completely different thread.  I think people have stopped posting because there's nothing else to say and you don't seem to have cared about what has been said.

But anyway, it's all moot now, since you already bought it, which is why I wonder why you persist in asking about it.  It's not the end of the world to spam forums with an incessant need for more opinions about the same question and then insist that no one answers your questions, but it's not good behavior either and it will irritate people (like me).

https://www.pianostreet.com/smf/index.php?topic=45958.0 that thread i asked for a ivory 2 vs east west comparison not opinions on east west

and on this thread https://www.pianoworld.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/1878994/Best%20piano%20VST.html#Post1878994 I asked for best vst plugin not for opinions on east west pianos

they are different questions lol and yes the thread https://www.pianoworld.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/1878994/Best%20piano%20VST.html#Post1878994 did get a good responce but hardly anyone mentioned or discussed east west quantum leap pianos hence why i posted this question up. All of these questions were asked before I purchased east west piano and i haven't posted any more threads asking opinions on it at all since buying it. Im not quite sure what your problem is but if you have nothing good to say and are just interested in moaning to me about that im posting the same question everywhere which i am not then i suggest that you do not comment or view my threads at all.

Your post in the PianoTeq thread was after you bought it.  And essentially identical language to your other threads.  It sure sounded like you were going to continue that behavior even though you had bought it to me.

I do have (or had) plenty to add to your question. I put noticeable effort in good faith into answering your question in several threads until I realized

1) You don't care about the answer I and other people gave.  You already had your opinion and were seeking validation.

2) You appeared willing to continue asking and asking even though people had finished answering or tired of you.

But anyway, if you are done asking that same question, then I'm satisfied.  I've got no beef with you besides that.  Hopefully no one else will comment on your post in the PT thread and this whole issue will die.
