wow! everyone here has been playing for sooo long!!! I'm the only one (of the people who voted) who has been playing for only 1 to 3 years?! noone even said 4 to 6 years!!!
It's probably because the majority of 1-3 year pianists aren't interested enough in order to go on a piano forum
It's probably because the majority of 1-3 year pianists aren't interested enough in order to go on a piano forum. It takes time to develop a devotion to the piano?
There are plenty of experience pianists that aren't devoted enough to spend their spare non practice time on a forum.....I've met teachers who have never heard of the common reference books, and after i mention them they are completely disinterested in them, seeing no value in reading books about their profession. I'm guessing they aren't here either..
Does experience mean how long one has played from the very beginning or when one has started to take playing the piano seriously?
True, but more likely that someone interested enough to be on this site is more experienced. Perhaps?Though looking at these polls, it seems that there are almost as many 1-3 years experienced as 7-12 or 20+.
