Need help with comedians dance piece.
on: April 22, 2012, 12:33:07 AM
This song is kind of difficult for me. 1. My fingers get twisted and start to miss the notes. 2. This song is fast and if I try to play slow it never helps. 3. the patterns of the notes are tripled in the beginning so it goes like this: AAA GGG FFF DDD AAA FFF DDD. 4. the fingering is what twist my fingers up its 321 321 321. and last 5.my left hand can't keep up with my right hand.

here's a picture from Alfred's basic piano book level 4

Click on the picture so you can see it better.

Try 132 132, then you avoid the awkward 3-1.

Personally, I see nothing wrong with the Alfreds fingering...

I'd say practice more and play the notes with certainty and precision.

Thank-you for your reply's. j_menz not to disappoint but I'd like to do play with that fingering because I can't just change my fingering I do have a teacher and the 321 is what she said to and the book does too. But maybe I can tell her what fingering you suggested Thank-you though. :)

I think I'll practice on those parts longer. My lesson is tomorrow at 2:00pm so I'll have time to practice a little bit tomorrow too. Thank-you guys your very helpful and if anyone else has comments go right ahead and post them.
