Beethoven Sonata No. 32, Op. 111 in C minor [VIDEO]
on: April 26, 2012, 03:31:51 PM
Here's the first movement..  Elsewhere on my channel is the 2nd movement from a live performance.  I recorded this for a competition audition DVD a couple years ago.  Hope you enjoy!  As always, comments are encouraged.

really outstanding! you manged a clarity that is difficult enuogh undrer ideal conditions, and here's you're dealing with an interesting mix of no so acoustically friendly survfaces with a very bright piano (relative to the normal ss sound we usually hear). thanks for sharing your talent. i have no spefic rep comments as i am not super familar with the work, just a superfical knowledge and understanding of 'passing' listens from time to time.

This Sonata IS the 'subilme': you're very brave to measure yourself with such a masterpiece. But you did a great job indeed!!! Post the Arietta, please, if you have recorded it. After hearing Arrau's performance, I worship it as one of the peaks of the entire piano literature....
