I don't wanna get Married

I don't wanna! Even worse is those darn kids that eat up your money and your time and energy.

I'm even not to sure if I want a wife simply because women generally want kids in their lifetime.

I'll stick with a girlfriend.

Any experienced wedded people in this forum to shed some light?  I still have maybe 5-10 years to choose my wed to be.  I want her to have:

1. honesty and integrity, and is friendly
2. sense of humor
3. good looking young attractive (but not super hot so others will take their looks)
4. plays the piano
5. isn't anal about everything like some A type person
6. doesn't want kids.

I hate to be chovanistic, but a girl like that is one in a million.  Honestly, you usally give up looks for friendliness, and vice versa.  I have had a lot of trouble with the female population.  Im a relaxed, outgoing, and generous guy, women take advantage of that.   My advice to you, find a girl that you really like, and become friends.  It works out better in the end.  one of my best friend is a girl, and its a fact, id love to date her but other reasons prevent that (my heterosexual lifemate's ex), but its really cool just being friends with her, i really dont think i would have it anyother way.

So don't get married already!  Nobody is forcing you to.

And hey, if you're not looking for "the one" the type of person they are doesn't really matter, right?  So, why be picky, just have fun!  When it stops being fun, just get the H*E*double-hockey-sticks out of there (do you detect any sarcasm?)!

They're expensive

Diapers, bottles, cribs, toys, daycare, baby sitter, getting up at 2 in the morning for that damned thing to stop crying

then School books, lunch, paying for whatever, wasting time having to chase after them doing homework
Paying for their toys and movies and PS2..etc

going to stupid teacher interviews and saying that "Spatula Jr really suxxors at math but is good at music"...etc

Then comes college...forking out $30000 to $100000 depending if this kid gets scholarships etc

then marriage...etc

God I don't think kids are worth the trouble, especially after seeing my parents ^ ^

Ask yourself this question, did your parents really care about all this when they chose to have you? If you choose to see the negative aspect of bringing up a child, then of course it's really not worthwhile, but having a child is a joy and blessing that's worthwhile suffering for.

I have never had a desire to have children.  I'm 38 and not married, but I would LOVE to get married!!  I like kids, it's not that.  I used to teach piano to numerous children.  I loved them.  It's just that I have NO desire to have children.  IS that wrong?  I don't think so.  Also, I don't ohhh and ahhh and cootchy-coo at babies that I meet.  I think of babies as PEOPLE.  And I love all PEOPLE.  Babies don't "tug at my heart"" in any sort of way.  Maybe I'm weird, but oh well.

But then youll be dieing one day and ask yourself if you should have experienced these things.

or, you could look at it like this- your child could be the next Bill Gates and youll be RICH!  Also, keep in mind that immigrant parents like to beat their kids!  If you or your parents are immigrants, people will understnad if you beat your kids to stop them from complaining and bitching about toys and McDonalds.  Then, you can have a perfect Spatula Jr that plays piano better than you.  Cmon now, beat your kids! (I am making huge generalizations here, so dont ask me how serious I am)

maybe I should adopt a child from a war torn zone, at least I'd make a difference and they'd never talk back because they know they're in a free country, and that'd be a blessing enough.

I don't think I'd beat my kids, nor would be damn strict, but I'd teach them morales (the basics) and then let them be.

well here in canada we have a falling population.  We need people to start having kids up here or the whole country's screwed!  Last time I checked the stats, the average couple has 1.4 children..  hmm..

I would love to adopt, but only if the kid's parents died.  If the parents are irresponsible (the kid was an accident, the parent's a drunk..) I dont know if I would want the kid because maybe they would grow up to have the same behavior..

I did trumpet in the OLD OLD days...like in elementary school but I didn't like it...

I found I was suited better for piano.
umm...I might sometime take up guitar...but I have so many things to do now..so that'll have to wait.

I play trumpet, and of all the instruments I've played, trumpet is my favorite.  However, it's quite physically demanding.  

The guitar is fun, but your fingers will get tired after a while because you are pressing against the strings.

I can spend a few hours with a kid, but not the entire day.  Too exhausting!
