What pieces have you played so far? What style of music are you interested in?

Beethoven Sonata Op 109. It's one of the first pieces I learned, you should enjoy it!

I don't know how to categorize, or determine styles yet [i think you mean classical, jazz, blues etc. i dunno if u could suggest one to start with it would be better]. i bought a low end casio keyboard a year back. with which i got a song book i try to play songs from that book. I learnt sight reading and basic fingering to start with from internet/You tube

I have started  playing with some simple rhymes then first half of fur elise :) , Minut in G major

Most of the time i enjoy to try and play by ear with my iTouch piano software as i travel lot, than trying to read music. But that too i am in stage where i can only find melody track, i find hard or impossible to detect the supporting chords in background

Thank you for the suggestion, i will give it a shot and come back. btw i just like the opinion "you should enjoy it!" I dont want to be a Pro, perfectionist or a performer. i Dont want to prove anyone anything. simply enjoy and theory of music how it is built and how it influences.

I suggest you have a look at one of the adult piano course series, Alfred's  or John Thompson's, for example. You can order them online (just google). They'll give you the basics, which will translate well into whatever sort of music you end up preferring.

Ignore the Beethoven 109 - he was kidding! It's way beyond your capabilities (and most peoples).
