1876 Concert Grand Knabe Piano. This piano is one of a kind with no replications and was built for the 100th year anniversary of the United States. The piano was showcased at the Philadelphia Centennial World's Fair. This beautiful piano took 10 complete years to build and is all handcrafted. The cabinet is made out of Brazilian Rosewood with 4 hand-carved profiles of what is believed to be Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, and Mr. Knabe himself, founder of Knabe and Co.. The Concert Grand is larger than normal concert pianos measuring 3.1242meters (10 feet 3 inches) in length. There is no other piano like this in the world. The attention to detail and quality of sound is breath taking. With only minor asthetic alterations that need to be done, this piano would be ready to be placed in a museum. Once in a lifetime piece that is a very impressive addition to anyone who loves the arts, music, and history.
