Brahms Waltz Op.39 No.4
on: May 10, 2012, 06:34:21 AM
How hard is Brahms waltz op. 39 no.4? How difficult is it compare with Bach's two part inventions (A minor, G major and F major) and Beethoven sonata op.49 No.1? Is it something for an average student who played for 2-3 years?
Thanks!

Unlikely. You might try an easy piano version but I think a two year student would have a tough time with the original, at the least. Unless they make two year students and classes different than I remember ( and that could be !).

Depressing the pedal on an out of tune acoustic piano and playing does not result in tonal color control or add interest, it's called obnoxious.
