How much practice to prepare for my ARCT?
on: May 14, 2012, 03:49:39 PM
I'm finishing up my Grade 10 in about a month, and then will be starting my ARCT pieces.
I'm wondering how much I should practice.
Right now I have horrible practice habits. Luckily I have natural talent, enough that with a total of only 30 hours of practice, I got 80 on the Technical half of my exam. I win competitions and get mid 80s marks in exams with this little amount of practice.
However, since I'll be attending university in a year, I only have a year to prepare for my ARCT. I'm wondering how much time I'll need to spend on practising.
Thanks in advance!

Up until you get your pieces to perfection?
