I'm a virgin so my opinion isn't really valid.

However, for me, it would depend on the situation.  If I'm having a Debut with some really famous orchestra playing Rach 3, then of course piano over sex!

But if it's like every day practice, I think I would go for sex.

If I had to do without sex for the rest of my life it would be a case of "Oh dear ! How sad ! Never mind !" If I had to do without my music, I would feel a very grave loss indeed. I suppose that answers the question fairly succinctly.

Then again, I am well past middle age and my testosterone levels were probably lower than average even in my youth. Without going into details I consider it a blessing really, seeing the strife sex has caused my contemporaries over the years.

cannot retire from music.

The commercials would probably declare me for a living dead anyway     But certainly, I'd prefer to be less tired, in general.

You shouldn't view the two as mutually exclusive; if you were to do so, you would excel at neither.

Rubinstein apparently once said that you have to play the piano as though you were making love to it.  The reverse might also be true as good pianists should have good technique refined over years of caressing the keyboard.
