Can someone help me understand how to play these notes

I've been playing guitar for a few years so I understand how to play music, I'm coordinated enough to pick up piano and able to remember hit notes quickly.

I just need some help understanding how to play this.

I'm interested in this cover, the dude says:

transpose half tone up, the whole song is just
F(add3) --> A note in right hand
F(add2) --> G note in right hand
Am
G

I've googled what the notes look like,
I've moved them up half a step (at first manually, but now using the digital keyboard function)

and I still can't figure out how to play this.
I'm used to being guitar pro spoon fed when it comes to playing stuff

So I've got one earphone in listening to the song, the other listening to the piano and i'm messing round with the notes given to find out how the song is being played.

I just can't seem to get it, the A sounds way off, I can't even hear it being played in the song,
Can someone give me a nudge in the right direction, I'm lost but I would really like to get this.
