Video download on Macs
on: May 22, 2012, 03:35:52 AM
I have noticed recently that I cannot always directly download videos, e.g. from youtube, with the usual option-command-A followed by double clicking on the process. For higher resolution clips it seems to either split it into a series of small processes or redirect to another video player. If I reduce the resolution the old way still works.

Of course if I just want to download the sound, I can just plug in my Zoom H2, but am I missing a trick here ? Is there some Mac parameter I can fiddle ?

Thanks, I'll try one of those. I did try a couple of others but they didn't work very well.
