YUCK:
1. Ginger. I know this is a favourite Chinese spice, and I'm Chinese, but . . . ugh!!
2. Chinese celery. What a stench!
3. Rhubarb. Tastes sour, that's all.
4. Hot dessert. Silly! Aren't all types of dessert supposed to be served chilled?
YUM:
1. Literally all sorts of Japanese sashimi.
2. Which means I also love sushi and Japanese cusine in general.
3. Korean cuisine.
4. Oranges, apples, pears, grapes, mangoes, mangosteens, durians, jackfruits, watermelon, honeydew melon, hami melon . . . virtually all fruit, especially juicy and chilled ones.
5. Chickens, ducks, geese, lamb, beef.
6. Sugar canes.
7. Eggs, especially half-boiled eggs that still have fluid yolks.
8. Steamed seafood of all sorts.
9. Chinese fresh water (hairy) crabs.
10. Ice cream.
11. Chilled drinks (non-alcoholic).
