I like it a lot, but it can be improved much more. Try to keep a steady tempo thoughout the whole piece, keep in mind that Ravel composed this piece, it requires a clock-like precision to play. How did you practice the double-note arpeggios at 1:01? I'm dying to know.
Anyway, it is an excellent performance, work more on it and I'm sure you will make it an outstanding one!

Agreed. I need more metronome time. I'm not entirely happy with it yet... About the double notes, I'm not really sure. They just sort of clicked. I kind of think of it like only playing on top of the keys. If you play too deep, it sounds too crunchy.

Let's keep this post awhile .... maybe the teachers here in PS can say a word or two.
I am always inspired to hear young pianists!
btw, good recording.

I have never played this piece before.. but it's one of my favorite ravel works..
You played it very well.. It's great!
I just think it needs to sound more watery and flowing ('cuz it's Jeau D'eau).. You are still to careful throughout the piece..
This is a very challenging piece anyway, and not many pianists manage to play it beautifully..
I personally love Argerich's version..

This is about a minute or so faster now. I will post another as I get closer to my recital date.
