My Composition_Under The Influence (A Glass Roof)

I recorded this on my Kawai DP -I was feeling very upset when I played it -but I was determined not to let a bully victimise me so much I couldn't play.

If you like minimalist music I hope you will enjoy this.

Beautiful, Starstruck!  I love the repeated bass motif and the ritardando and pause just before the treble comes in with it's sad, yearning strain. And then the change in the bass lines before it returns to the original motif.  It has an overall lonesome, sad feeling. You have a beautiful touch and tone.  I love it!

this is very nice and you have some good variety of the 'repeating motiff' enough that the piece moves, it takes us somewhere. i likedit. very much reminds me of yann tiersen.

would feel right at home in one of my FAVORITE movies of ALL TIME!

Thank you so much for your comment!  This was precisely my aim when I began -even the motif in unison was meant to be as simple as can be - -and then exploring the way harmony and melody can be like an ostinato in its own right -
