I would hope that if that was necessary for post operative recovery then the physician would've given you something..   ?

Hi,
If you're looking for some specific piano-based exercises then try some Hanon or Czerny - I started doing these a few years back and they made a big difference to the strength iof my fingers and wrist. But, be careful - I did too much of them and had to back off for a bit with repetitive strain. Joints need time to heal and recover properly so take it slowly and be patient - you want it to heal properly so you can enjoy playing for years to come.
Good luck,
Ben

Hi emuzilla,
I have played Stephen Heller's etude op 45 no 14. It is a nice simple etude around 5th grade standard. Most of the wrist action is for the right hand although there are some octaves in the left. The etude is to be played fast and in order to do that you would need a floppy wrist. Some chords, thirds and octaves for you to manage. In due time I think you will find it easy. I hope your wrist heals in time and I hope you find the piece interesting.
