Election 2004
on: September 30, 2004, 03:24:00 AM
For those interested in the election, my boss at Universal showed me this link   www.gotdownloads.com/rtv/  so that I could register to vote.  You can also sign up for some contest there.  I was really impressed that some of my favorite artists are supporting this too, like Matt Dusk and Diana Krall.  Take a look.

I would if I was old enough.  I feel that Kerry will win this election-but it will probably be somewhat close.

Something that amazes me of the election polls is the significant number of North American citizens that will not vote, even having their right to do so. Most people don't like Bush, others are unsure about Kerry... but voting makes a difference.

I'm Spanish, and we had a great problem with a president that didn't listen to "we, the peope". Most people didn't like him... others were unsure about his contender... but something happened: a lot of people who never voted did it this time. So we kicked the mean guy out of the government and have a brand new president, which we hope won't deny our confidence (but, with politics, you never know...) . At least, voting made the difference.  ;)
