How would you divide this up between the hands?
on: June 05, 2012, 08:31:47 PM
Hello, I am currently working on Ravel's La Valse. I am currently at a point where I am struggling with these few bars. Tell me how you would handle this problem (dividing between the hands). Here is the hyperlink: https://javanese.imslp.info/files/imglnks/usimg/6/6c/IMSLP06506-Ravel_-_La_Valse__Piano_.pdf
It is on Page 8, Lines 2-5 (after the key change when there are 3 staffs).

Thank you very much!

You mean the other instrument part , try for the first bar playing the third staff with your left hand  ,then with your right hand in the 2nd bar,do the same for the entire first line.
For the 2nd line (clarinette part) you can use your right hand to play it all.
