Rachmaninoff Prelude in G minor Op.23 No.5
on: June 14, 2012, 03:29:37 PM
This is S. Rachmaninoff's famous prelude in g played by one of my friends. He is making mistakes but he is playing it with nuances, and great technical balance. Hope you will like it.  ;)
Current repertoire:
Bach Toccata in E minor
Beethoven Sonata op.110
Rachmaninov Corelli Variations
Liszt Paganini Etudes No.2 and 6.
Strauss Burlesque in d minor, Brahms piano concerto No.2.

I forgot to write that the hall was enormous (bigger than a symphonic orchestra hall) and he was somehow forced to play a mezzo forte instead of a piano so as the listeners in the last row should hear the notes.
