Value of this Baldur piano
on: October 04, 2004, 03:55:25 PM
An acquaintance has a piano to sell from her former husband but dosn't know the value of the instrument. I havn't seen it, but I got photos from her and the piano is okay an has no defects.
Its a Baldur Piano from Ferdinand Schaaf with the number 12127. Can anybody of you appreciate the roughly value of the instrument? If you want I can send you the photos.
Thank you very much for your help.
Sunny!

Is it a grand or upright? By the serial, the piano is probably about 90 years old, so it may need some tune-ups. You can post pictures on the forum if you have a website to which you can upload them.

A modern house without a flush toilet... uncanny.

It's not a grand piano, it's an upright. I don't have a homepage so I'm not able to upload pictures.
