Competition Repertoire...
on: July 10, 2012, 07:54:59 PM
any suggestions would be helpful...though max time is 9 mins (this is very important)
I am current thinking
either 1. Brahms  rhapsody op.79 no.1

or 2.  Liszt Transcendental etude 12 (chasse-neigh)
or 3.   Prokofiev sonata no. 3

Rachmaninov is accompanying a violinst who loses his place in the music. The violinst strolls casually over to Rachmaninov, and says: 'Where are we?'
And Rachmaninov whispers: 'In Carnegie Hall'

"O Machine!" she murmured, and caressed her Book, and was comforted.

hmm...
I do like mazeppa but i think perhaps it is too difficult for me to successfully perform at the moment...so unfortunatly it is unlikely to be in the competition
That said I may still learn it (attempt to learn!) just for fun :)
