Meandering through a minor key
on: July 27, 2012, 01:45:51 PM
This is a recent improvisation of mine. Although initially not based on a particular idea, I realised afterwards that I'd borrowed part of a theme from Nobuo Uematsu (from one of the Final Fantasy Piano Collections). I was going to cut off some of the beginning since it contains a few false starts, but decided against it in the end as it shows some of my thought process. I do need to learn to maintain the flow in those situations when things appear not to go the way I have in my head.

Anyway, enjoy, and please forgive the seriously out of tune key!

Thank you pianowolfi. Part of it will potentially be used for a parody of the guilt trip charity TV adverts that are ubiquitous at the moment. Just need to do something in the parallel major and I'll have all the music I need. ;)
