Romantic piano songs - chords - sing along
on: July 30, 2012, 09:27:38 PM
I need some names on some romantic songs, that i can sing for my girlfriend, while playing piano chords to them, alot of the piano tutorial on the net is without song, and therefore you "play" the singing, i want names on songs that is relatively beginner stadium, and can be played by chords, while i sing along. Maybe some links to tutorials aswell next to the name :)

Thanks in advance! really need help finding

You're going to have to help us out a bit. What style/era of songs are you looking for? Do you mean romantic or Romantic?

You're looking in the wrong place really. This site is more for solo classical piano.

I agree, look at musicnotes.com  There you can find arrangements both for vocal and piano and also ones with the chords written above the score which you could just follow that with the piano vs the full accompaniment.
Depressing the pedal on an out of tune acoustic piano and playing does not result in tonal color control or add interest, it's called obnoxious.

i wholeheartedly disagree.

from the forum homepage description of the board:

"Repertoire
Discussion about piano works, composers and recordings."

there is room for everyone that likes piano music here. we all benefit from the experiences, knowledge, and perspective others bring.

this would be a pretty boring place otherwise.

what can we say. we aim to please.  i prefer to call them the legendary squat thrones of ultimate contemplation and power, but yeah i suppose toilet is just as effective (probably easier to rhyme with if you were to compose a sonnet about them too, good call! )

*scurries off to do some powerful contemplation and perhaps compose a sonnet
