Wilbeerthoven - Nocturne nš1
on: July 31, 2012, 01:26:47 AM
Hello to all! I just decided to post here one of my compositions for piano. I shared this on youtube about a year ago but my channel is not visible anyway. I do not really play the piano and what you hear is me playing through the Finale. Well I hope you enjoy!  Note: be sure to not listen at 240p!

I watched the video and was wondering which came  first -the music or the video?  The music fits perfectly with the images anyway -

I like the sudden changes in density and the the way you resolve dissonance is very beautiful -I don't know whether you deliberately arrested the flow of the piece throughout -but it gave me the feeling of searching -of temporal anxiety and unease -which did fit the images well -nothing was really joined up anyway -the music is Bach-like in places and yet rhapsodic and modern -

I would like very much to hear some of your other pieces -

When a search is in progress, something will be found.
